Unlike a conventional parking post, The Drawbridge lock at the top and can also fold down in two directions. Once locked, all working parts are concealed, making it very difficult to destroy.

The whole device is of weatherproof construction and requires only DIY cinstallation. The post itself is a 2 inch diameter pressure tested seamless tube with 3mm wall thickness for added strength, This is secured to a metal base that bolts to a concrete base. Through / raw bolts are supplies with the product, which also comes with standard nuts for those requiring permanent security.

All internal parts are zinc plated and weather proof, and when in position the pivot point and pin are completely enclosed. The lock has more than 500,000 key combinations for added security and the product is finished in the recognised security colours, yellow and black.

The Drawbridge is available in two heights, 610mm and 840mm, the smaller suitable for cars and the taller one for commercial vehicles, where the additional height of the post prevents the rear doors of the vehicle being opened.
